Quinteto Irreal is an international, new urban tango project. With a full set of original arrangements written by the argentinian pianist and composer Aleksandra Tonelli, the repertoire of this quintet is inspired by the "guardia vieja" style: fast, playful, fun! This project combines this unique traditional style with a fresh and authentic artistic view, for curious contemporary listeners. "Volver" is one of the most emblematic tangos of all time. It talks about the feeling of homesickness and the profound desire to come back home. This song was written during the pandemic where the arranger was going through that exact situation, which gives this piece a great emotional power and authenticity. It also reflects the artistic richness of this original project.
